we're going to begin the process of updating The Coli today. There may be downtime here and there over the next few days while we work to get everything done ASAP. Your patience is greatly appreciated!

This some revisionist stuff here but i guess you're entitled to that opinion. The brehs you're accusing of being "treasonous" was the same ones jumping through hoops just to log in...filling out captcha and cutting off javascript and shyt for weeks lol. Hardly anyone went at brook and a lot of people asked how they could help or contribute where needed. If this was just some regular ass site with no sense of community brehs would've been left.
I think the lesson that needs to be learned here is patience and rationality. It's ok to question things, but going overboard and bashing people, without having all the facts and threatening to go to another site is a bit much.
It's fair to state that communication regarding the site's current functionality could have happened sooner. Maybe that would have calmed things down just a little bit. (Maybe not because people here just seem to find a reason to bytch about everything)
On the other hand if Brooklynzson told everyone that the upgrade dude was paid and he ran into issues on when dude could fix this up, then clearly the site was not being abandoned as claimed, and there would be light at the end of the tunnel, even if its longer than people would have liked. If you post here often, then clearly you have some kind of loyalty to the site. Which means by default you should have some faith in the site owner that this will get taken care of even if you're annoyed at the speed of the progress.
