Let's assume he started with $100 in his pocket.

Dropped $60 to buy the goat the first time. Now his cash is $40.
Sold it for $70. Now his cash is $110.
Copped it again at $80, now his cash is $30.
Sold it again for $90, now his cash is $120.

Started with $100, ended with $120, he made $20.

If the goat is $80 the second time and all you had was $70 from the first sale, where’s the profit?

He started off with $60 and that $60 became $90. if the transaction costs are $0 he made $30 from nothing.

Buys at 60

Sell for 70

= 10 dollar profit

He goes on to buy it for 80

He has to use the 70 plus borrow 10 from somewhere else to buy at 80

Now he -10 in the hole

Now he sells it for 90 and makes back A 10 dollar profit

He pays the money back to who ever loaned him the 10

= 0 profit

Assuming this ain’t birdman and he ain’t paying nobody anyway I would say 0

Bruh...

If your reup is more than your profit on the first sale, you’re in the hole. I know Stinger Bell in community college business classes knows that.

Lets say he had 70 to begin with. Buys the goat for 60 and sells it for 70. Buys it again for 80 and sells it for 90. 90-70=20, therefore he made $20.

Why would he borrow 10 if he just made 10 in profit

He would invest the 10 he made, add 70 and flip that to 90.

So he made 20 in total

You aren't considering he purchased the 2nd goat with money he didnt start with.

He had 70 after the 1st purchase but had to front another 10 to buy an 80 dollar goat

I'm serious when I say this breh. This answer is ONLY EXCUSABLE if and only if you are in the 3rd grade or lower. Other than that, ban yourself from any math or financial advice until you hire yourself a tutor.

LOL I'm being coy but literally shaking my head at yall Coli "financial and career" experts.
