A lot of my female friends are recommending the movie Baggage Claim.

I went to see it b/c I'd like to support something black that's NOT Tyler Perry. But it was only marginally better than a TP flick.

I will say Jill Scott has some pretty good acting chops. The role she had, she played it very well.

was Paula patton naked? having sex? if not fukk that movie

This movie featured one of the corniest love scenes ever seen.

She and Boris Kodjoe had a love scene and the camera made sure to go way out of it's way to zoom in on Boris' chest/abs. Then another scene where Paula was changing clothes it made sure to overtly do the same to her. Shots like that have to flow with the scenes, and it doesnt at all

You need to hang out with a different calibre of women. The few women I know who have watched it said it was terrible.
