A lot of my female friends are recommending the movie Baggage Claim.

I hate to be critical, but that movie was bad.....like it had a few parts where it was looking up.....but then it went downhill.

The ending was WAY, WAY too predictable. So much so that I was thinking, there's no way they're gonna do this....there's gotta be a swerve. But nope.

The acting was so-so.....the writing was bland. Had Trey Songz playing a grown man over 30 and Terrence J playing a college aged kid. :what:.....they coulda switched those roles and it woulda made way more sense.

I just wish we could get a good black movie without the same predictable plots or some variety.

I saw the commercial or preview or whatever it was for that shyt and it looked terrible. Actually i could just look at the actors and knew it wouldn't be good.

I would say support it so black movies can get better.
Once Hollywood sees that black movies are profitable more will be made, and due to the nature of competition black writers and producers will try to get better and better.
This will cause black movies to get better and better.
But I will not support Black movies that set us back.

the problem being black movies that get the most box office are also the shyttest most formulaic garbage out there and black audiences gobble that up. now what?

First post made me laugh.

I think I'd pay to see all chapters of Trapped in the Closet turned into a movie.

Evolution will occur.
The better movies will move forward, and the bad ones will die off.
