I live in the United States
Good read.

:laff:at this part tho

Shelton: A lot of it was completely corrupt. Everyone was betting on everything. The place had gotten a little dirty, and I was part of it. The scene at the used-car lot where they stop in the night and Woody says he could dunk? Woody actually bet Wesley that he could dunk it. Wesley kept going off to his trailer and we kept lowering the basket. By the time the bet got high enough, Woody slammed it. Wesley didn't realize that we lowered the basket a foot.

Who the fukk "keeps" going off to there trailer in the middle of a argument/bet?
Unless he was goin back to take a couple of bumps :comeon:

Reading this article makes me want to see this movie even after seeing it at least 20 plus times. This movie is funny as hell and u got Rosie Perez at her absolute best.

Oh yeah. I always thought that part was weird how she gave her that look. It seems like they cut some of that part out, It makes sense for her to give her that look cause she already told her earlier she wasn't given her the money back, but they just jumped to Rhonda agreeing with her.

That scene was so indicative of the film too. They were in the house, ready to choke each other, then Magic gets a steal and everyone forgets theyre fighting.

That was definitely intentional, they were so into the basketball and the game, it went beyond their little bullshyt argument, that was a great scene. It also showed the love of the game transcended their race.

my 3rd favorite basketball movie ever, behind hoop dreams and he got game

speaking of he got game, I was watching it last night...its a rare ass movie for the simple fact that its main character was a fukkin awful actor. Ray Allen's performance is so bad that at times you gotta sit back and laugh at this dude

when he comes home and finds Denzel sitting at the dinner table with his sister :usure:

one of the worst acted scenes in the history of movies breh :wow: I was ROLLING laughing at this dude. especially the follow up scene where he's talking to his sister while she's in bed and randomly flips out on her.

but its a rare breed in that even despite how terrible Ray Allen was, its still a great movie. classic as fukk. I can't think of any other films that feature a performance as bad as Ray Ray's and is still that good. Denzel deserved an oscar for how he carried this movie tho. He tossed it on his back.

I'd swear I figured it'd be impossible for someone to not like this movie, but, lo and behold, we got some clowns on this site to prove me wrong :stopitslime:

Movie is a classic, and I just downloaded it so I can watch it again later tonight after the Packer game. The article was a great read too. I knew from previous talk that Wesley couldn't ball, but reading that shyt about Keanu is hilarious.

And yes, Rosie's tittays = :lawd: They were so damn beautiful :whew:
