This list sucks:
Diggy is extremely young and has years to develop into something, if anything his star is rising.
The Game is one of the most relevant rappers in the West Coast, let's not act like people stopped listening to his 20 minute ensemble tracks. While RED didn't do well commericially, he has still sold about 4.5 million albums being essentially a pure street rapper and that's pretty fukking respectable. He also tours heavily and has a thriving mixtape circuit.
Nelly just put out one of the biggest hits of 2010, he can basically do that anytime he wants but he's still spending Tip Drill money
Jim Jones is kind of on the fence, but he could still drop heat
I hate Lil' B, but I'm not gonna act like this dudes star isn't rising.
Banks just put out a hot album a year or two ago and is the hottest rappers in the mixtape circuits, dude has accepted his lane as a street rapper, ala Jadakiss.
Whoever wrote this article, in the words of my man Art Barr, is a sucka and a toy, and is not truly involved in the culture.
Wheres Luda?
