If Mozgov was the same Mozgov he was last year then this healthy Cavs squad would be a LOT scarier. As is, them being healthy is a gift and a curse from a matchup standpoint, Kyrie and Love give up a lot on the defensive end, much moreso than the injured Cavs last year. Offensively they are a better uptempo team than last year, but that plays into the Warriors hands.

The only thing the Cavs can do defensively to disrupt the Warriors is what the Spurs did this regular season, switch on off-ball screen. If they come out trapping the PnR again this year it'll be over in 5.

Basically this is Klay and Draymond vs Kyrie and Love. Almost everyone else will cancel each other out. Draymond will need to actually show up this series for us to win.

Anybody who played for the title team during the season at any point gets a ring, I believe.
Not a player, but I'm hoping my boy Nash ends up with a ring if the Dubs pull through. :ohlawd:

He's a part-time, player development consultant for them.

You're using regular season matchups to discuss the NBA finals. :mjlol:

shyt, in the Playoffs we witnessed GS get blown out by ungodly amounts in several games and still win a series. :mjlol:

You're acting like the Cleveland team that lost then is the same as the team now. :mjlol:

Kyrie was still rusty and terrible. No Channing Frye who has become a huge part of their second unit. Iirc no Shump, or if he was there extremely rusty. They played a very different style under Blatt than they do Lue, Love rarely got post touches and was almost exclusively a 3 point shooter. LeBron, while still a mediocre shooter now, had absolutely NO JUMPSHOT during this period and was struggling himself. The Cleveland Cavaliers are a completely different team than they were months ago with LeBron playing almost exclusively off the ball and choosing to be more of a facilitator as opposed to the iso strategy they went to fullstop. But you'll choose to overlook it and post gifs for daps because your IQ is rivaling the big ass rock that sits out on my driveway. :mjlol:
Real talk though.. the defining narrative between OKC and GS echoes the regular season narrative.

all 3 regular season games - OKC play the Warriors competitively... do some fukkshyt to blow the lead

last 3 games of the WCF - same thing. The turnovers weren't quite as pronounced, because OKC's role-players stepped up... but Westbrook and Durant still out here taking retarded shots :scust:

People saying cleveland is a different team are correct but so is GSW. They were the rookie underdogs against the newly crowned king champion that "Knew what it took to be a champion now" and when they lost the narrative was bron had the B squad wit him and should have got the finals MVP.

Well now his squad is healthy and dominated the east so shyt is out the window. Last years series Curry and Klay were'nt shooting these godly wtf 3's and putting up 40 and 30 in playoff games it was more balanced. Barnes and iggy was eating along with random bench nikkas getting 10pts

OKC had the option to go big and pound GSW but clevelands big line up is not as dominating on defense. That Frye lineup is dope but the green small lineup is more battle tested and love might be sitting a few 4th quarters again because his pnr defense is trash. Thompson can switch onto klay/curry but u getting 4pts from him.

For cleveland to take it we have to see something new from this this series because they have'nt been tested and got desperate yet.

I think bron have to swallow his pride and play point center this series :ohhh:
