Channing Frye shot a .738 effective field goal percentage & 56.5% from 3 throughout the whole playoffs but could barely see the court in the finals:mjcry:

I just posted an article showing you Curry was missing wide open shots. He got good looks and missed them. All season long he made incredibly difficult shots (along with Klay). They just stopped falling in this series. Kyrie was Steph this series. It's somewhat remarkable the series went seven games considering Steph/Klay only had one great game each.

This is one of the weirdest series I've ever seen. Six blowouts and one tight game. The two best players on one team never getting right while the two best on the other team caught fire. Kerr had some bizarre rotations too. I'll never understand why he kept going to Barnes/Ezeli/Varejao in game 7. Those three were killing them and he kept plugging them in. The rotation should have been Curry, Klay, Livingston, Iguodala, Green, Barbosa and a little Speights.

As much flack as I've given Lue, he outcoached Kerr in the tail end of the series. He stuck with the seven guys he trusted and didn't deviate from them.
Love also missed a lot of open shots. All his 3pt were open, ALL of them and he should have really averaged 20ppg.

However, thats too simplistic and no player has gone 100% on their shots open or not. Circus shots are circus shots for a reason. You might have seen him score some but best believe that at best only 45% of those go in and thats at his absolute best. With the way he was overworked and put in the line of fire on defense, as well as being closely guarded all game meant that his physical workload tripled and wheb that happens, efficiency goes out the window. Remember, last season Curry didnt even have a great series until his primary defender went to hospital after game 3. The Cavs simply picked up where they left last season. Klay doesnt have success against Cleveland. He has to work too hard on Kyrie and Lebron to get enough lift on the offense. Chess not checkers

You're really gonna act like Klay didn't guard Harden, Thrillard, Westbrook and Durant before the Finals and shoot just fine? :heh:

Even if this were to be true - you're basically blaming LeBron and not Blatt if Frye wouldn't have played, and not because of Blatt's decision not to play Frye.

I think if Bron wanted Frye out there he would've been:francis:

So if you're of the opinion that LeBron has the final say on coaching decisions - how can you blame Blatt for anything when LeBron had control? :jbhmm:
