Ingram is just lazy about generating shots. It seems that instead of using footwork, dribbling or making a move to create a wide open shot he's comfortable just pulling up and using his length to shoot a contested J. That should be a last resort but it's his go to move.

He has a lot of the same issues that Doughboy has, in terms of not having enough core/leg strength to get a good base on his jumpers or driving. People always point to Durant, but Ingram is much weaker
