Not the first year, he definitely was the 2nd year.

And the #1 option in OKC has never been a real #1 option for a championship caliber team since Kevin Durant.

Both the usg and fga was higher for Russ than PG both years. And the heat of playoff failure has always been lambasted on Westbrook out of the pairing. So I don't see where this playoff pressure PG has had deal with will be any different on the Clippers.

No interest in rhj ? :jbhmm:

Yeah it seems like only us here are talking about him...he seems like a good fit and the Lakers are a team that needs young athletes....seems everyone is mostly all about Bradley or waiting for Iggy or Korver to hit the waiver wire.

PG took more FGA per game than Russ this past season. He also was the closer, but the narrative was always gonna fall back on Russ cuz his reputation precedes him, and he’s the franchise player. Then you factor in that OKC run a real system, and the spacing on their teams have always been average to below average.

The “pressure” PG will be exposed to won’t necessarily change, he’ll just be on a much better team with the best player he’s ever played with.

All Paul George has to do is play the Scottie Pippen role.

lebron didnt force another player demand a trade from his team
Yes and no...

He did have Bosh do a sign and trade to Miami though.

My thought on the Kawhi/Paul George thing is how isnt that tampering to have a free agent and prospective team force a player under contract to demand a trade
