Dont compare giving Kobe a legacy contract to this shyt. Before bron came the Lakers had a clear future (dlo, Ingram, Randle, zo, kuz) and cap space to add pieces down the line. When Kobe was given that contract the Lakers had struck out on guys like LaMarcus aldridge/westbrook and had no draft picks cause of the Steve nash trade. The future had already been compromised which is why the Kobe deal wasnt an issue. On top of that, Kobe brought years of excellence and rings, bron ain't brought shyt but drama.
