Facts, but Paul George's too wishy washy to be taken seriously.

The Lakers did try to to trade for him. Indiana wasn't budging (because it was the Lakers), so they pulled the offer since they had the leverage. This guy wanted LA to "gamble" for him by grossly overpaying, but dipped on OKC --- a team that did "gamble" on him, 2 years later.

12 months after he refused to even enter FA at the last minute for said reasoning.

I’m not saying it’s a cake walk and it shouldn’t..... cuz the moment it is all cats gonna try to do is discredit the journey.

But I still don’t think they that much better

They sacrificed soooo much to get where they at. They did the thing that just this past year cats in here and as claiming the Lakers would be dumb as hell to do for AD

I know y’all Laker brehs distraught right now, but I think with AD and Bron y’all still got a great team. That’s two top 5 players who play at a high level. No it’s not a super team but I wouldn’t be surprised if we get a clippers/lakers WCF. I got y’all top 3 in the west with lac and hou in the other two spots.

They should be mad at Lebron and Jennie bus. Magic had built the foundation to have a really good team with 2 superstars and a good bench. Who was the first superstar he got? Lebron. Everybody knows what he does. He gets to teams gets rid of everybody he doesn't want and brings in his crew. Magic wasnt with that. Magic didn't make that AD trade bc that was too much for AD.It would leave the Lakers with 2 superstars with no help. What did the Lakers do? Chose pelinka over magic.

Now magic is gone and pelinka is in. Magic been in the nba a long time. He has ears everywhere so he knew about the bron pelinka Jennie shyt. That's why he didn't call any body when he quit. Bron was silent on magic leaving except when he shyt on him on his show. He never seemed upset about it.



What other player made teams sign a nondisclosure agreements? It makes no sense to say "I want magic in the meeting". He knew they would have to meet separately. Kawhi controlled the narrative now. Only info "leaked" was magic convo and he likes the lakers. The one thing kawhi said is nobody say shyt. Magic fukked the Lakers by leaking that on purpose. Why would magic help people he said back stabbed him? They made the Lakers wait, lose out on free agents and made them think they were his first choice. Completely down played the clippers. We heard about Lakers pitch and raptors but not the clippers. The whole time clippers knew the deal. Gave the okc a record number of 1st to keep them quiet. Thats why the PG deal was announced the same time kawhi announced his team. Clippers didn't spend any money for PG. Toronto knew he wasn't coming which is why they told their fans to chill on kawhi and resigned everybody fast except Danny green.

Well see if he made the best decision for himself in the end. Lakers woulda been better for his load management and endorsement deals. Pretty sure NB is :mjcry:

That was my biggest concern on doing the trade and reason #1 why I wouldn't do the trade...

You don't trade everything for one player anyways...

But if you're dumb enough to do it... you best have that contract extension signed before doing the trade


Otherwise we traded everything on the team and all our picks for the next 40 years for a 1 year rental


And that my friends is the true definition of stupid
