It just became apparent to me that Kuzma was reported as "off limits" in Pelicans discussions not because Pelinka thought he was the best talent out of him, Lonzo, and Ingram. But because he had the smallest cap number out of the three (Kuzma 1.9, Zo 8.7, Ingram 7.2)
Had we kept Zo or Ingram instead of Kuzma, they would have 25 or 26 mil in cap space instead of 32.
