If we had landed Zion, do you think we would've traded him to the Pelicans for AD?

Many of us are on board with that train of thought. However, you want to blow a significant chunk on Terry Rozier and Darren Collison.

3 yr 18m (6m per-player opt after yr 2) would not be a huge chunk.

Why would you not want Rozier/Collison at only 6m per yr?....Rozier can defend and create his own shot off the dribble. Sure, he had a down season. But that was mostly due to the Celtic dysfunction/Kyrie cutting into his minutes. Collison can defend and is a career 47/39/85 shooter with a 2.5 a/t ratio...and btw...Collison was born and went to school in California.

There would be great incentives for Rozier/Collison signing with the Lakers.

* Being the starting pg for LA Lakers
* The chance of getting a bigger deal after yr #2
* Living in LA
* Playing for a Championship contender
* Establishing yourself as a valuable player for a Championship team (more money)

Easily. We would have given up a lot less too. Probably Zion, Zo and one first round pick. Even I think that would be too much considering we would have the leverage since Zion is considered a generational talent. Maybe Zion and a future protected first.

I’m starting to believe the rumors that Ballmer paid Woj to praise the Clippers and shyt on the Lakers. It’s too coincidental and I’ve never seen a reporter act this unprofessional.

don't forget, woj hates lebron so anything lebron related that he reports on, is going have that hater feel to it.
