I just heard that the Lakers want Kurt Rambis as an associate coach or assistant GM. Welp.
Hire a head coach before you hire a PBO brehs. Hire a associate coach before hiring a head coach brehs.

this franchise is doomed. Dr Buss rolling over in his graveI just heard that the Lakers want Kurt Rambis as an associate coach or assistant GM. Welp.
Meanwhile you got David Griffen supposedly already trying to upgrade the Pelicans training staff. Something the Lakers desperately need. The richest or second richest franchise in sports and being cheap on all non-basketball positions.Hire a head coach before you hire a PBO brehs. Wait, you telling me we could’ve did this the whole time? Is the money funny in El Segundo? Because the Lakers should be hiring the best people money can buy.

That's been the most common complaint I've heard about the Lakers is how cheap they usually go on personnel that's not players. Like somebody else brought up these teams are owned by billionaires who are established business men who are more willing to take on losses if it means the franchise growing in value. The Lakers is the Buss family business so they are more dependent on year to year profits. So they cut costs where they can.Wait, you telling me we could’ve did this the whole time? From what I understand, the 6 or so Buss Children share the profit that comes in from the Lakers. After the minority owners get their cut I would imagine. If that cuts goes 6 ways and there's no other source of income, I can see these c*nts being greedy and trying to save cost
thats an underrated part about all of this. Buss family don't have much money besides Laker money and indivdual real estate holdings. They dont have tons of cash in other areas like 99% of other owners. Buss family being cheap in certain aspects is nothing new it's been like that since their dad died. Thats part of the reason they hired guys like Byron Scott he was super cheap
I would throw the max at suns training staff that’s how good they are
