I'd take expirings and picks
If we strike out this summer there's no reason for him to be here
While I like the idea of Lebron getting so frustrated that he would demand a trade, I really don't want to hear this shyt from this dude right now. He clearly didn't come to the Lakers for championship/basketball reasons.
If he wanted to be in LA so bad and compete immediately, he should've went to the Clippers... but I suppose his ego wouldn't let him go to the "lowly Clippers" even though it would've been the better situation right now and for his legacy.

Who's gonna fit the bill and how many picks could LA realistically get? I just don't think it's as easy as it sounds. Maybe it is and I'm being too pessimistic.I'd take expirings and picks

Honestly it's not really possible because they would like to do right by Bron. I would only expect 2nd round picks back

Also I think LA will be nice and willing to trade him where ever he wants to go. Might be looking like the rockets/clippers deal and we have to hope we get good young random assets
Who would fit the bill though? He might only want to go to the Clippers.

I will gladly take shamet, Harrell and some other guys. I think Houston, Philly are also two teams he might want.
He still plays this 2nd year here. I just don’t wanna deal with his passive aggressiveness all year if we fail to get a big name. Would be best to sit down with him and be honest and if he is okay with our young guys and good role players then he can stay. We can’t have another AD situation again where he is publicly campaigning for a trade

If he wanted Philly he woulda signed there and he didn't seem interested in Houston at all. I think he just wants to be in LA and would only be OK with the Clips. Just my two cents.
The Warriors assuming KD leaves. Do a sign and trade with Klay and some picks. Bron would definitely sign off on going there because he gets to stay in Cali and play for a dynasty. The Warriors get a huge splash and moneymaker to open up their new arena and still compete for titles. Optically it would be a bad look for the Lakers but it would be a chance to re-build properly...and if they are on good terms with Klutch, AD might still want to come to LA in 2020. Everybody wins

If West gets a superstar through FA, he definitely would to win a ring right away. LeBron for Shamet/Harrell and similar players is a fair price. Most would expect an allstar in return. I am with you, I think LeBron wants to be in LA and it would have to be a very bad situation for him to want out.
I am just not gonna be a fan of him doing the same antics if we don't get a big name. I think we can still be a top 5 team in West if we bring back the young talent and surround with right pieces like Danny Green/Brook Lopez and a better bench. And they eventually have to make a decision on Ingram this year, and Lonzo/hart/Kuzma next. This is the summer they need to be all in with the young group or out.
