we cursed breh. First we stanned Bynum hard and freak knee injuries robbed us of HOF Career now this BI news I cant take it anymore

Honestly at this point, I might have to watch basketball from afar. catch scores, watch games here and there but I don't think I can be invested in this shyt no more.

Been reading some news and there is a very high chance that it does not reoccur again, something like 11% due to the location of the clot so that's good news but like I said, I want the Lakers to have nothing to do with his recovery process. They have shown complete negligence in the past in the way they handled injuries. For example, this dude Josh Hart has tendinitis and he's out there still playing..why?

It's a damn shame when a poverty franchise like the Suns have a better medical staff

I agree. It’s not a coincidence that’s all these injuries keep happening. This franchise flat out does not invest in its medical and training staff. BI has money and can train/heal with the best help he can hire. But it’s just another damning strike on this franchise. Why would Kawhi or Kyrie or AD even consider the Lakers given their injury histories?

Jeanie needs to look in the mirror.

This essentially what I did after Kobe's achilles injury :mjcry:

Took me until 17-18 until I started watching ball again regularly.

I will get less invested again if injuries are as big of a problem next year

What's the point of watching when you know your best players will play a maximum of 55-60 games every year? that's just torturing yourself at this point. For my sanity, I'll just keep tabs here and there but unless some drastic changes are made, I'm going to be a casual. This is what they need to do before I believe again, fire Luke and hire a real coach with real assistants, fire the entire medical staff and build a team that can develop cohesion and not 1 year deals every year. :scust:

Same, I couldn’t bear to see Kobe like that. I started getting into it again with the promise of new hope with our young players. But the team lacks the substance it used to have, especially now that we more concerned with chasing FAs like some aggressive sluts instead of building a new team and culture. Kobe was the last of that and he’s gone. This bunch has betrayed the Lakers legacy. Until order is restored this shyt is pointless.

Ehh I dont really buy this. Theres nothing wrong with the medical staff, they literally have access to one of the best hospitals in the world. It's just bad luck. This BI shyt is just some unfortunate shyt. There isn't anything the training staff could have done to prevent the BI injury, or Zo, or Bron injury. We just have bad luck imo. I would like to say though, it would be dope to bring in a phil jackson-esque mediation/yoga regimen. I think that really helped the players lock in. There are studies that show that lack of focus contributes to injuries

How come none of the players ever come back from the injury timeline that the lakers give? You don’t find that suspicious? They literally hired the Kardashians trainer to take care of professional basketball players. :mjlol:

I think the timeline stuff is PR related and the FO taking an over cautious approach. Dont know just my hunch

Yeah, think I’m just about ready. I wanted to wait for mathematical elimination but it’s over now.

Y’all got any suggestions? I had a few ideas I’m still mulling over.
