People were chanting go back to Cleveland:mjlol:

Which free agent is going to come after the abuse were giving LeBron :russ:

If anything, they should see that he’s food now and take that as an opportunity to boost their profile by carrying LeBron to rings. As long as he accepts that he’s a #2 going forward(for the right player of course) then I don’t see why a big time free agent don’t take the chance.

I’m just tryna keep hope alive, these idiots too dumb to pull anything off.

A lot may depend on what the perception of LeBron intent relative to his historical statistical positions. Personally I think he would be better served to focus more on facilitating than scoring. But being only 3 years away from Kareem has to be ridiculously tempting

This wouldn’t happen to any other free agent though. Bron has been in the Kobe fan’s crosshairs for a long time. They want the team to win, but don’t want Bron to be the reason why. All other free agents will be fine in LA

He’s gotta transition to the 4 and be a secondary scorer. Hopefully he really works hard on post moves and footwork over the summer. :russ:

Next season, him and Lonzo can be the ones focused on facilitating while Kawhi(I hope) and BI are the scorers. Make things more defined in the starting lineup, we can adjust if needed.

Great post, you can count Kawhi out though :pachaha:

Might be Jimmy Butler and BI

I see the Lakers more as an open post team

I’d rather keep the money....:francis:

Care to expand on this?
Open post teams rely on a combination of dribble penetration and basket cuts (with and without screens) more than traditional posting down low.

The Lakers have no real low post players on the roster. LeBron has the size and strength but it's unnatural for him. While it would be an aspect for the team it could never be a primary focus

I disagree, a lot of pro Kobe people gave Bron an honest chance. I mean shyt, we had a peace summit with his stanbase. The problem is LeBron brought all this on himself knowing what kinda team he was headed to and that he was following in the footsteps of the most iconic Laker since Magic. Now it’s foot on neck til the 2019-2020 season.

Even if the team had squeezed into the playoffs the fans would’ve gave him a pass. But after all the shyt talking about playoff mode activated and he’s the GOAT he created this for himself. Other free agents wouldn’t catch this level heat imo.

True, well after trading Zu it would seem we’re much closer to this model than the former. My worry is if the front office even thinks that deep about the team. Just seems like they want to throw a bunch of shyt together and roll a basketball out there.

The Lakers will be fine if whoever the coach is actually has a solid system with a bit of continuity to it

When was the last time Bron played in a structured system?

The closest was Miami. The issue in Miami was bench depth and injuries. Even with all that they pulled out 2 rings, which should've been 3, but Lebron getting into his own head, which caused him to over analyze and out think himself. Hence the self ether with a loss that should've been a hard fought win over the Mavs.

Bron ball is a system, maybe not the most effective one as it relies so much on one player :manny:

Would be dope if Lebron developed a solid post game in the off season..if he wants to have longevity he neees to go offball

Another issue he’s becoming a defensive liability big time..doesn’t show up in the stat sheet but expect him to be targeted. Lakers should never have taken an aging star without a win-now team ready - they already wasted a year of Bron

Should have been 1 ring if it wasn't for ray Allen 3....
