But we was hatin ass Kobe stans to bring things like this up. This is the fatal flaw in this era of judging everything by numbers and formulas. All those things are cold and don’t tell the full story in something as fluid as basketball. It was never hard to tell, if anything, it’s some twilight zone shyt to see so many people still acting ignorant to what’s very obvious.

Groupthink some real shyt. Media fooled all y’all to believe this nikka was something he’s not. He’s the drake of basketball. Everything from the mass media push to the #23, nikka make moves like a industry plant. :childplease:

Lmaooooo :mjlol:

This nikka called Bron an industry plant :russ:

I had to stop lurking to laugh at that bc it's damn near true :dead:

We could see this shyt happening from a mile away...and still couldn't do anything about it :snoop:

Turned a promising young team into a fukking dumpster fire :snoop:

It would be a travesty if Magic allowed Lebron on the Lakers without a clear understanding of his role on the team.

Lebron's (current) playing style stifles the development of those around him, and makes the game far less enjoyable to watch. Watching Bron pound the ball for 20 seconds before a bounce pass to Lonzo for a hurried corner 3 (which he will probably miss due to lack of touches and inability to get into rhythm, and will of course be followed by a patented made-for-TV LeGlare and color commentary about how "the players around him have gotta STEP UP!") doesn't interest me in the least.

If Lebron can accept his new role as an off-ball player, expected to do more than cursory help defense & unnecessarily expending energy leaping over his teammates for rebounds in an attempt to secure his triple-double, he would be a remarkable asset to the franchise moving forwards.

But given the attitude he displayed towards Spoelstra/Riley when his Bron Ball tendencies were at least somewhat controlled (and the significant regression in his playing style since returning to the Cavs), I have serious doubts about the Lakers' ability to properly discipline him and channel his talents in a way that leads to a bright future for the fantastic young players they've already got, let alone overcome GS in the West to bring home that chip.
