This can all be salvaged if Bron gets a superstar and the front office plugs in the right role players and we end up winning a ship, but my head is telling me Bron's reign in LA is going to end in a disaster. I feel like 4 years from now we're gonna end up with zero rings and left with a roster similar to Clevelands.
BTW- I would've loved to have seen D-lo play with Zo and Kuz last season. Despite what many people say, we still could've gotten Kuz without trading up one spot. Jim and Mitch fuked up with the Deng and Mosgov contracts but overall I liked how we were trending with the young talent.
Its crazy because I fully agree. The issue though is that it depends on so much shyt that we can’t really expect. If we want a real impact player like Kawhi then Bron gotta be humble and take a 1b or #2 role going forward and let that be known on all fronts so there’s no doubt. Magic and Pelinka have to actually make smart roster moves and create the type of cohesion necessary for a title run and a coach that can coach this team needs to be hired.
I doubt any of that shyt will happen. I’ve just been sitting and wondering how this team would look had we kept everyone. We’d have homegrown Lakers learning how to win and fighting to bring the team back rather than begging nikkaz to play for us. shyt tragic.
