Magic and Pelinka are pretty stupid to make it public, I guess they had to save their own face after they got criticism for Kawhi deal even though I am sure they offered good things for Kawhi too

No shyt. That's why I didn't get why these idiots on here were saying Magic was the one leaking info. Most successful trades are done in the dark. And if the trade didn't happen it would hang over the players heads. Ask yourself why would Magic willingly sabotage his team? SO this idea that Magic was leaking info to Brad TUrner made no sense from the start.
The one thing, I think all these reporters are not understanding about AD, it's not the same situation as Paul George or even Kawhi. If Boston trades for him, they lost assets for nothing. AD's agent is Rich Paul. He has made sure AD will not re-sign with Boston. I truly believe it doesn't matter if it's now or 2020, AD will be a Laker. No one will stop him. And Rich Paul will make sure this happens.

Combo of both. Demps comes from that spurs lineage so he's already anti-lakers. That's why Popovich was the one who called Demps and told him basically not to trade with the lakers. Same reason why the spurs weren't going to trade Kawhi to the Lakers. Klutch setting a precedent is just more fuel to the fire.

Nah, this is 100% a Lakers thing. Ever since The Veto, the rest of the league has seemingly conspired against the Lakers in big deals. It's ridiculous. You'd think they were the team in the middle of winning their fourth title in five years.
