Agreed. At some point it just became awkward watching it unfold especially with the announcers bringing it up every time he was on the floor, him blatantly not getting touches.. but they'll post up jr smith or do pick and roll options with thompson, all the while klove just stands in the corner. Part of the blame is on Blatt and perhaps Lebron/player politics... but blame also falls on KLove himself. You can't have a beta male mentality. Kyrie and a prime Wade (2011) 'supposedly' didn't have a game that meshed well with Lebron's.. but guess what? Neither of em gave a flying fukk and were going to get the ball where they liked it and do what they liked to do, regardless.

Love (and Bosh before him) at some point gotta say, "Nah fukk all that. After i set this baseline screen for you, i aint clearing out so you can isolate, I'm sealing off my defender and you finna give me the ball. :usure: " And i don't mean saying it verbally, I mean saying it with your body language and letting em know you aint budging even if they waive you off at first.
The difference though is that Wade and Kyrie were both essentially point guards and had the ball in their hands. I've seen plenty of games where Love is in post position and just gets looked off or the ball swung away from him even when he was calling for it. As a big man/post player you're totally fukked if the team's not trying to post you.

Yea, this is true to an extent. But even still, no matter how fast they swing the ball, they can't do it fast enough to stop those 3 second violations that they'll keep on getting if they don't give you the ball... or, more realistically, the questions the media will ask/troll about why you keep on ignoring him despite his aggressiveness.

Like, as much of a diva and a baby that someone like Shaq was, he was going to get the ball or there was going to be drama. Young/prime Dirk got incensed if he didn't get the rock, he didn't play that shyt either. Duncan is the least emotional of them, but best believe he'll be up in your face like an angry well-spoken robot telling you about yourself if you tested his patience one time too many.

Not saying KLove is as good as them or has to cause a big scene, but at some point you gotta get up in their face and let it be known. If it ruffles some feathers or if they don't like you afterwards, oh well.. b/c its not like they were respecting him much to begin with. Looking at his body language tho, it looked like a kicked puppy that wanted no more problems amongst the wolves.

True that. Displaying more of an alpha personality and asserting his will would go a long way.
