why do people make such a big deal about climate change?

climate change has been around for millions of years. there have been ice ages and then times when the temps went waaayyyy up. I always thought it was more cyclical than just global warming suddenly caused by this generation of humanity.

Sure, climate has changed over the course of history. But this kind of industrialized pollution has only been around for the last 150 or so years and we're already seeing significant changes.

People really think this isn't destroying our planet?
