If the movie does not fall within the following categories:
  • Of foreign origin, usually action-oriented
  • Funded by Netflix with a known (competent) director or writer as opposed a known (capable) cast
There is a 98% chance of the movie's quality ranging from completely mediocre to absolutely awful, neither of which being worth the time spent watching nor the bandwidth required to stream it.

Use this as a guide moving forward to prevent wasting time with yet another lackluster Netflix Original. Don't do it to yourself or your loved ones! It's not worth it.

i just had wine country on with all them broads from SNL days past, shyt was so garbage. the movie was so generic, a paint by numbers girls weekend storyline with no LOL moments
I said I would be done with them when Message From The King with Chadwick left me with the stoneface throughout, but after Cam disappointed and See You Yesterday being complete trash, I'm officially done with Netflix movies if they don't fit the criteria.

Now that I think about it I don't think I've ever seen a netflix original movie. I know the original shows are known to have decent-great first seasons but get progressively worse each season(narcos is my exception). Im thinking of cutting netfllix since they will soon lose disney and it seems prices go up every 4-5 months.

Do you have a list of these known (competent) directors and writers to check against? :jbhmm:

I might check Mudbound out (AFTER this set of films I have queued up), but I'm good on that other one. Netflix can't be trusted.

:birdman: I pay for it. What type of shows you into?
I dont know lol. It depends on the day. I liked the show "You" that was on there...most of the content is things i've seen and have no interest in seeing again at the moment or shyt i would never even want recommended to me. all the stand up comedy on there looks terrible.
