Brotha, it wouldn’t matter if JJJ traded out two letters to become KAJ, the holes in his game would still be exposed because Memphis wouldn’t be able to utilize him properly anyway. No different to a lot of Edey’s struggles this season being due to nobody being able to utilize him properly either.

With all that said - it’s only Game 1 and OKC hasn’t had a meal in a week, so it’s not at all surprising they came out like some ravenous hyenas, which is why you can’t really overreact to one game where Memphis’ flaws were magnified well beyond what they are normally. Memphis isn’t going to get anyone better in exchange for JJJ, so they really don’t have much choice in the matter but to play that hand they’ve been dealt for the foreseeable future.

There is no excuse to trail by 50 points. Obviously OKC are projected as favorites to come outta west, but in no way in hell it should be this bad. Like I can understand 30 point difference, but not 50!!!!

These isolated games can happen.



Especially against a squad like OKC who plays on demon time. They don’t just put their foot on your neck, they push down until your windpipe is painting the concrete.

Game was over in the 2nd quarter. Everything was way harder for the Grizz, while shyt look like a walk in the park for OKC. Grizz are too small for this OKC team though. I don’t expect this to be a long series, but I had to see it first before I could write off memphis.
