Spoiler alert: he won't. It's over. Trump has been stuck around 40-44% in most polls, that's his ceiling. He needed to appeal to voters beyond his white male base tonight. He didn't do that. If you're female or a minority he didn't say or do anything to appeal to you. Th math doesn't add up to get him to 51% or to 270 EC votes.

That was the worst debate performance in modern US history. He displayed zero mastery of any topic and fell for every trap Hillary laid for him. Once she bright up his inheritance he caught feelings and never returned to a normal state.

look i don't think trump gave a stellar performance but i think you can make the case that the questions were a little bit weighed in hillary's favor.

Here i am paying for all these infrastructure projects, the military, public healthcare, etc... and Donald Trump has the nerve to sit up there and say he doesnt pay federal taxes because he is smart. So the rest of us are idiots? How can you sit up there and complain about how bad things are in this country when you refuse to put any money into the pot that pays for said things.

Trump dropped the ball. He should have hit her on the syrian refugees her administration would allow into the country.
