He was a top juco player and chose that school over Florida and a few others so his dad says.... Being the sports junkie I am I looked up the schools record over the years.. I saw the record and was like

I don't know what he was thinking when he chose that school. I mean he's a junior so maybe he wanted to go a situation where he knew he was start. Weak competiton?

Anyways, He was like he was going to fly out to see them play OK State and I was like don't do it he was like yeah, it's too far so he decided to go to the florida state game this weekend. They lost ot OK St. 84-0. That's how bad that team is.

He was pumpin his son up for the past month and before that he was talking about how heavily recruited he was...... When he come back next week, shyt is gonna be awkward for a few days.

Being from NJ and living here all his life, he probably got caught up in that HBCU atmosphere, the proximity to FL but still. And I TOLD him, if Florida trying to get at him and he trying to go to the NFL, he need to go there. Didn't listen I guess. Rutgers was trying to recruit him hard too but when the coach left, he said screw it. Really, he didn't go to Rutgers because he wanted to get away from NJ.

That was his thinking I suppose, plus by playing OK State and Florida St. he would get that exposure against top competion because after that, its just games in the MEAC. He got the size (6'2 175) to be a good corner, I know DRC when to a small school too. But still. Out of all the teams in the MEAC, I would've choosen a different one.

Don't know the kid but if you're a beast you're gonna make it. That's why nikkas have jobs titled scouts. It doesn't matter what school you go to if you're talented enough. Although, I would've still went to Florida if they were offering, but that's just me.

He said Rutgers was trying to recruit him so I though it could be possible. I saw some highlights and he looked the part. I think he wanted to go to a school and start right away especially since he only has 2 years of eligibility left. But the whole thing is suspect.
