No excuses this was a form of racism and body shaming. The best swimmer won, it's not like she got suit that wasn't regulated, she just did not have the stereotypical swimmer body. I hope the young lady wins the appeal.

I understand the rule but it's application was off. You can't judge the fit of the swimsuit after the race has taken place. The swimsuit is gonna move around. I play soccer and every now and then I'll get a wedgie. The fit of the suit should have been judged before the race, not after.
If anything, there should be revisions to the types of suits a player can wear to compete with. Go with the whole body track suit for everyone.
