I believe it was Michael Jai White who broke down this misconception. The correction is, black films that aren't ACTION movies don't do well over seas! Usually black films are either comedies or dope tales.

He also broke down that white movies don't do well over seas either unless they're action or scifi.

Black excellence ain't got shyt to do with Objectivity breh. I compared it to Thor mainly because it was the Previous Marvel film. But neither trailer showed anything "spectacular" I hope I'm wrong. Would love to see a mostly Black cast and Black director knock it out the park. Just seems like a lot is being hidden, which could be a good thing.
