Next to Nas, Jim jones has had one of the best late career revivals in rap history. What are you talking about?

Nobody believes this about Jim Jones.

When you consider his skill level, both current and original, its absolutely true

Jim came in as an enforcer, a hype man. People forget Jim was in the background for the ORIGINAL Cam, in the 90s. We should not still be talking about him. Whether musically or popularity wise.

Like Jim has more IG followers than Cam he’s worked the game masterfully.

This. And Push is home team and all but what is he even talking about

If not for Pharrell and Kanye, and beefs with Wayne and Drake , push would be closer to where other secondary early 00s rappers are: Beans, Ghost, Rae, etc. Most of them are not ‘on’

Push talks like he was an A level elite rapper he was not. He has benefited tremendously from attaching to others
He’s a good rapper that was insulated from actual independence

Dude just ran between different cliques and claimed independence. Pharrell to Kanye to Pharrell. That stint treading water made his own brother quit rapping. It was that bad. Granted they got caught in that transition to streaming but the game is the game.

Pusha wouldn’t even be Lupe, wale or even Big Sean status with out Kanye.

Jim Jones is arguably the active OG of NYC right now. That’s astonishing.

Did we forget tekashi69? The guy has continued to stay relevant. Even Fab slowed up.
