basically you go on a site like that, link your bank, card, etc to purchase and sell your coin. If you have 5 bitcoins, just go to sell, and you'll have XXXX amount of dollars in you coinbase account. then all you do is withdraw it. its not rocket surgery or anything

so you basically buy bitcoin and then wait until it goes up and sell it? I thought it was more complicated than that? Is there not a way to generate bitcoins from physical human activity like working or selling a product?

Don't let them turn money into a virtual currency :snoop:

:dead:

You do realize that cash is only a smallllll representation of how much money there is right?
and the rest of it is.... Digital. Kinda like... Bitcoins.

Anything people decide to put value on can be used as a trade medium, if everybody wakes up wanting blow as a currency tomorrow than I can go pay the mortgage with an 8ball.

The real way to eat off bitcoin is by mining. You have to invest in a bit miner though which is basically a super computer. Some people form groups and "co-own" a bit miner. Check the prices on eBay, they're ridiculous.

If you read the article you'll see they mentioned his wallet and it was some long ass code. Well there are millions of those codes and many are still untapped. The super computer runs through thousands of permutations per second until it finds a hit. If you try to do this with a regular computer your grandkids will be dead before it finds one.

Of course selling the miners themselves is a come up as well.
