I can’t speak for other nyc nikkas, but I went all over the city, met all types of foreigners and the Japanese people always been about nyc hip hop music, even in the 90’s. They would be in the hip hop spots knowing very little English, but partying with us, it was all love!

Nyc will always be loved just cause its a big city with different cultures but it’s not what it used to be. I wish I could give y’all the feeling it used to have. That’s why we did our own thing from smoking blunts to wearing boots to partying every day of the week. You go out of state, and people were in awe, but it was just us doing us. There is a reason why hip hop came from nyc, we were our own world, and Brooklyn was its own planet!

Anyone who is from nyc, and mingled with out of towners, know our reputation. I even had a chick say she didn’t want to sit in front of me cause some ny nikka cut a chicks throat around that time

To put it simple for ya local ass, nyc was known for bringing drugs, and violence, to these towns, and be disrespectful, but in the south a nikka would shoot you in a ny second for shyt we would just talk in nyc.
