Bruh, you don't have to activate ESPN. I didn't. I did have to "activate" the fios app via a code. You sure you had to activate ESPN?
One possibility is maybe you need to "activate" your console at his house?
Maybe they can tell you ain't never used there isp or something?
Google should know something about this...

After the new update came out, when you load the app, it asks you to select your ISP. You select the ISP, it gives you a activation code. You then go to the link that it provides and you enter in the code (but it has to be an active sub).

I had my boy do this for me. I gave him the activation code and he went to the link, logged into his Xfinity account and activated the console for me to use the app.

See, if you was there at his house. I don't think you'd word it like "I gave him the code"
So my super detective skills leads me to believe you did this over the phone
He then on his PC put that code in, and it started working for you
What I'm suggesting is maybe you should do/should of done is activate your system at the house you used to activate it.

Why? Cuz when you do it your way, they still have to allow the activation on your xbox. Your xbox has to be connected somehow at this point
Now you said you have the same cable provider, but MAYBE they can tell that your system has NEVER actually been on the IP that you registered with
Maybe you have a certain amount of time to do that before they come to the conclusion that your cheating the system.

Just a possibility, I'm not sure if that is the case. What I do know is if that IS the case? They not gonna go out there way to relay this info to the masses

hasn't dropped yet. They said it could take a day or two to show up on your system. Whey they release new apps, its not everywhere at once.
The entire process usually takes up to 2 days when more than a few apps are added...
