And you thought the wii-u had features you couldn't get elsewhere? I think its the other way around...
Now on Xbox, sports fans have a whole new way to connect with fellow fans and compete on Xbox LIVE with the new Sports Picks app. You can make picks, compete with your Xbox LIVE friends and fight for domination of the leaderboard. With the Sports Picks app, we’ve also added a new experience for Xbox SmartGlass, so you can do all of this on your tablet or phone without missing a beat of the game on your TV through Xbox 360.

For those of you planning to take in a live sporting event from ESPN or catch the replay of last night’s NBA game on your Xbox, we’ve introducing all-new Xbox SmartGlass experiences to accompany ESPN and NBA Game Time.

The ESPN experience for Xbox SmartGlass puts you in command of your favorite ESPN channels on your Xbox 360. Browse thousands of live events, highlights and replays using your tablet or smartphone, select the videos you want and play them on your Xbox 360.

The NBA Game Time experience for Xbox SmartGlass gives you total control of the non-stop basketball action on your Xbox 360. Browse live NBA games with highlights and game recaps, select the videos you want, and send them on your Xbox 360 for full-screen action
But $35 a year may be too much to ask for all this grub?

If similar stuff is free elsewhere then yea...

Dude, there is about 100apps now on this thing. To have "similar" you'd have to own a PC, a smartphone, a cablebox, a wii-u, a ps3, you'd have to live in japan, and you'd still need an xbox because half the shyt on here can't be had elsewhere :rudy:

But keep telling yourself you can instead of just letting that boy :cook:

I had my boy log into his Xfinity account after I got the activation code... had him activate my Xbox on his Xfinity account. I had free ESPN because his parents have the subscription to it with their plan.

After a few days, the app just stops streaming the Live content that's on there.

:upsetfavre:

It's happened twice now.

So I'm assuming they figured out how to stop nikkas like me from eating like this.

I haven't had the problem. What does still work for me is the fact I pay for the cable at my kids house. They have everything. Where I'm at now, they don't have premium channels (HBO's/etc) so I put in my info from the other house and HBO/etc works now via the FIOS app :manny:
I've also used this before in a hotel on multiple occasions. Right this second I'm watching FIRST TAKE so I don't really know what to tell ya???
Let me try smartglass with this bad boy (Don't mean to brag but... actually I do :bryan: )

No it doesn't.

Court just said he signed in at a Hotel which probably didn't have FIOS and it worked.

And my boy has the same provider. We both have Comcast/Xfinity and it goes in and out.

It must be Xfinity on some hating shyt. I wish UVerse would offer this cause I would just use my parents log in and be done with it. I don't have an issue with HBOGo either and they have UVerse and I'm on Comcast.
