I jinxed it...kid found a rhythm. Edit: Nevermind

:mjlol: :bryan:

In all seriousness, I think Kornet could end up as decent, back up big. Nothing more, nothing less. A stretch 5 that can hit the 3ball efficiently and block some shots, not bad to have come off your bench for 15 mins a game, 20 if he's playing well or one of the other bigs is in foul trouble :yeshrug:

This has all the feel of a game where the Wizards are gonna wake up in the second half and we'll get a typical third quarter. Lethargic and sloppy play all over but the young guards all had nice halves which is good to see.

I don't think there's a solution for how slow footed he is and that makes me question if he can even be a rotation guy. He'd need to really sharpen his footwork otherwise he'll be a liability in most situations (barring a Boban Marjonovic is playing). But he has high effort, really nice range and his shot blocking isn't a fluke. In a rebuild without the cap space, I could see bringing him back to see what he can figure out.

Need to replace Beasley for a stretch big(s) this offseason. Too many times he passes up on wide open threes for contested long twos or some questionable decisions even though he shoots at a high percentage albeit on a low volume. Floor spacers should be a priority.

Beasley is yet another Knick who, on a winning team, would be a quality, off the bench role player. Appreciate what he's done this season, hope he gets $$$ this summer :salute:......just not from us :whoa::hubie:

Wish him well tho :myman:

Think he'd be a really nice fit on the Pelicans

It's really a shame too, with his frame & athleticism he should be better than what he is, at minimum a rotational level player. Instead, after next season there is a high likelihood he'll be out of the league entirely. Terrible
