Watching the Bulls give away a game last night is pretty awful. We need some good karma...or one of the M. Bridges at least.

I really wonder where he's gonna go. Pretty sure I saw a report that he's been cleared to start practicing and getting into shape. Those predraft physicals are gonna be big for him.

One of the main reasons why the Knicks passed on DSJR was due to his injury issues and refusal to let Knick team doctors perform their own physical/health assessment on him. If Michael Porter is available at whatever pick we end up with, and he pulls something similar to what DSJR did last draft year, do you or anyone else think the Knicks brass should pass on him? Or is he so good that he's worth the risk? :patrice:

Just tryin to see what the general feeling is on using a lotto pick on a player who is a injury risk/has a injury history

As opposed to using that pick on a player whose ceiling may not be as high but is less of an injury risk? :patrice:

Thoughts?

I think it comes down to where we're picking and who's still available with Porter. Doncic, Bagley, Bamba, Ayton, JJJ are guys that I don't think you pass up for Porter. It gets a bit sketchy after that. I'm tempted to take Mikal Bridges over Porter too...though I probably overrated him. So that's 5 sure things I take over Porter and I'd add Mikal if there are health concerns for Porter. I probably take Porter over everyone else...though Miles Bridges is a player I could see having a good tournament and combine to make it a lot tougher decision. If Porter clears his physical though; picking a Bridges over him becomes a lot more of a long shot....but I really do like Mikal Bridges game.
