A player comparison isn't how you project a damned player, it's too hard to be accurate. Who do you really compare an Embiid, Simmons or KP to? Jokic? 538 took output numbers and tried to project starter and star potential for the top players more stat based and Frank came out as the biggest boom or bust prospect. That is to say, he projected almost twice as much star potential as anyone else besides De'Aaron Fox but his bust potential made him a gamble according to pure number crunching 538. I'd say Frank's defensive ability makes him a lock to be at minimum a quality role player and more likely a useful starter. But I think saying "he reminds me of Derrick Rose" of Smith versus "Derek Harper" on Frank (Mavs Harper not Knicks) is only speaking on the aesthetics of their game. The real ceiling of these guys will come down to percentage points and efficiencies. Harper making 2 three's per game instead of 1 would have been pushing 20 ppg most seasons in Dallas.

Who's the most likely All-Star in the 2017 NBA draft class?

i

Gray = Star Red = Starter Black = Role Player

Ewing should never be mentioned anywhere near Carmelo Anthony.

Nowhere near the same type of tenure on the knicks for this to be even considered.

Allan Houston led this shytty franchise further than Melo ever did.
Melo will be loved in ny a few years from now
Ofcourse not on a patrick ewing level, but for all he did knick fans ran him outta town too so:yeshrug:

You’re being to harsh on melo, I know that’s the norm on the coli but chill.

His tenure was not as successful as I or most of were hoping. Especially after going to the playoffs his first two seasons and going deep in the 2nd round in his 2nd yr.

I never thought for a second that we were gonna win a chip going against the heat and then the cavs with bron. But I definitely thought after the first few seasons, we definitely would see the playoffs every yr. but as the yrs went along, new coaches, shytty management and shytty roster after shytty roster that only bron could carry to the playoffs, I laid off with my criticism of Melo. Nothing he can do with jr smith being his 2nd best player.

Of course he won’t be remembered like ewing, but it doesn’t mean we won’t remember melo. He is a first ballot hall of famer
