I got pretty twisted and didn't watch this one as closely as I would to put up a legit recap. But it is frustrating as hell to see this team down 16 points with five minutes to go and we're clinging to the vets instead of letting the kids learn and develop some chemistry. Four games below 500, 3 games out of the 8 seed and we'll peak at a first round out in the best scenario...play the goddamn kids. Why die by the vets when the youth is what's gonna be around long term?

I'll give KP this, the defensive potential flashed big time in that first. The offense did well until the Wolves tightened up, the offense is still way too predictable and it's getting tough to watch a bunch of players that have no future roles here. Glad to see the news Sessions is getting waived and Burke is getting a call up but I also doubt Hornacek does a damned thing with that option unless management demands it.

I hope Trey doesn't take away most of Frank's minutes, the team should be shifting towards player development at this point, get Frank and Willy in there as much as you can. Also, the drop off in KP's play is staggering, he's playing like he's half dead, the fatigue issue is real. Beginning of the season KP was backing down smaller guys at will, and getting position way closer to the basket more often. Now, even if KP isn't getting doubled he can barely back anybody down, and teams are now sending an extra man over as soon as he makes a move towards the basket, he gets tunnel vision and they know it's an easy turnover or easy contest at that point. I guess Kp's breakout season is gonna happen next year if he just rests during the off-season, and even then he's gotta find a way to maintain his weight and strength through next year.

Wouldn't have that problem if y'all drafted DSJ :hubie:
