the thing is, the team does not look Better without melo lol
its just the easy thing to say
its not like we still running the triangle

we have the same record or better last year at this time with a system that didnt work for anyone. just based off talent.
the team isnt playing the triangle anymore which would happen with or without melo and it has opened us up on both sides of the floor
melo is on okc who has one of the best defenses in the league statistically

this team is more fun to watch though. and thats because we had no expectations and there's a lot of young players fighting hard to prove
