Wow, so because Melo was professional and didn't try to walk into the Garden w/ a baseball bat to break windows until he gets respect, he's blaming Melo for the stress caused to KP. Yikes.

Funny thing is...if Melo was that type of personality and he was on some rah rah shyt, KP probably would have been traded off the strength of Melo reasonably asking for veteran and established pieces.

Draft the brother of Euro Lavar brehs.

I was thinking of this comparison. Unlike Lavar, they got that 'WP' card to play. There won't be any calls for him to shut up, go away, and let his brother play.

AND he understands he has the WP card! He says in the article KP doesn't even have to get better to make $$. He knows there's value in a white superstar. Dolan does too. But if he starts to feel like the Porzingis' are trying to son him this could get ugly...

Melo didn't have any leverage in this situation to exert, so there wasn't anything he could do to get Phil fired, and he would've just fed into the negative perception people have of him if he tried. A lot will disagree, but I thought KP skipping exit meeting showed true leadership against shytty management, but really he was the only player on the team with any leverage and the only one who could pull it off with little backlash ( Melo would've got it 10x worse).

They didn't mess up, he just has a longer development time than some of the other players from the draft class. Monk has played twice as many minutes as Frank and has 5 less assists on the season and 6 less steals. Frank will need to put in work during the offseason on his body and his game, but the potential to be special is there, his defense looks even better than advertised.

If his work ethic is what everyone is saying it is the sky's the limit for him.

Yup, Frank’s defense and passing is already there. 8 assists and 5 steals in 25 minutes last game, Harden was struggling to shake him and he has a G.O.A.T. tier handle at his position. He already displays good court vision, creativity, and flair and he advances the ball up the court with his outlets similar to Lonzo Ball. Peep how he hit Dotson in stride who then broke Tarik Black's ankles with an in and out and scored on the break.

Frank just needs to get stronger, find confidence and consistency in his jumper, tighten the handle. He tends to go to the sidelines too much rather than the middle of the floor when handling which leads to TO's which leads to Walt Frazier complaining about not using the width of the court.

he's 19 and his frame leads me to believe at his peak...physically he should be able to punish smaller guards(on both ends really) and absorb contact when going to the rim
he got broad shoulders :dame:
he'll never be extremely explosive...but i want him to be methodical and strong.
he should mold his attack after joe johnson...atleast when he gets into the lane(not the isolation and wasteful dribbling part). deliberate while eating contact and taking floaters..and layups over smaller players with his wingspan

I trust my crew going into the league :yeshrug:

I definitely have to see more of Frank though.
