clinging? Do you understand the difference between racism and prejudice or discrimination? Nothing clinging about that in the US. Perhaps these wise radio people didn't know what the hell they were talking about.

You must remember we are dealing completely with perceptions when it comes to race, and as much as you see Dr. King as a peaceful inspiring man. The whites of the time saw him completely different. He frightened them and deepened the racial lines...

Racism is based on social, political and economic structures. If you don't control that, then it's prejudice.
Its all about perception. I've actually given up on finding objectivity in HL so ill just retire my point.
