I don’t see the problem with this to be honest. If the Cacs were just trying to fukk her over, they probably wouldn’t have said shyt until it was her turn so she wouldn’t have time to fix it. Or just str8 up disqualify her when it was her turn

ion see how that could be a safety issue, i have really long hair and it never causes any problems except i gotta do a ponytail on squat or clean days

don't care to look up the rules of whatever league she's in but the IWF lets you put any sort of shyt in ur hair (search "adornments") https://iwf.sport/wp-content/uploads/downloads/2020/01/IWF_TCRR_2020.pdf

i can see a few things going wrong with weight lifting indoors but the softball story is silly.

they are outdoors. there are rocks everywhere. a bead slipping off will be just another bump in the dirt. no one is gonna slip on them and if they do it likely won't be deadly

indoors i can see something like it hitting her in the eye causing her to reach for her eye while holding the weights or they slip off and she slips n falls while holding the weights

still bs, and regular hairband can do all of that, and they are even easier to dislodge and come out then the beads. Hence the reason she had a whole crew of girls helping her remove them. Would've taken two seconds if it was a hair tie.

jewelry as well.

a lot of athletes wear earrings, chains, bracelets etc.

Might as well ban all of those too.

Alot of these blogs post incendiary comments over general shyt and ya'll take the bait every time. Stay focused on nonsense.

The beads are a safety thing, what if one falls out and somebody slips on it whilst carrying a weight. The insurance would go through the roof. This does not compare to hair bands.

The rules should have been made clear before; no hair accessories outside of those used to hold the hair away from the face.

Only in a looney toons cartoon is a hair bead slippery. You are walking on padded mats. If you step on a bead it will just sink into it. Worst case scenario is maybe it hurts your foot it you're barefoot like walking a legos.
I guarantee no study was done to verify this slip hazard claim, nor can anyone post an example of a situation where someone did slip. and like the other poster above me said. you can just have her put a hat on over it or a durag or hairnet or something if its that serious instead of making them remove it.
