To be expected. They comment on his every move even though "Rocky fell off before he was ever on, and is a Houston-sounding plant" :pachaha:

Cover's a little too abstract for me. The Yams tribute is a nice touch tho.

I just hope he got his shyt together and recorded some actual bangers. That Everyday track is beyond basura.

Didn't Rocky say that Lil B wasn't on the album in some recent interview?

lol. receipts?

Peep the 5:19 mark breh. According to this interview, he's on it.

great post.

You know what I always find funny about older rappers' cosigns? You can tell the genuine ones because they've actually heard the music and they light up when repeating a line like Mos Def did with Lil B.

All these rappers talking about how dope Kendrick/J Cole/Drake is... and I've never heard them repeat a single line or chorus of what they supposedly love about these new rappers. Nor mention which tracks they really love. That's why the shyt feels fake every time.

No doubt. These co-signs nowadays just seem to be a business move as opposed to an actual genuine passion for the artist's work. You don't see that very often these days it seems.

Who cares ? Most of the previous generation are huge haters. This ain't the sound/style of hiphop they came up with so the disapproval is expected.

New rappers show homage which is just out of respect to their idols.

I got a feeling this album won't fairwell without a huge lead single...maybe he should have hit up Demi Lovato, Lorde, Rihanna and Lana Del Ray to lace him with some heat.

Damn...Yams dead, little buzz, Chanel dropped him...

Album might be straight up piff or garbo

that's not true at all.

Besides, I think it's hilarious to hear you say that because your average Kendrick/J Cole fan jumps to the moon when some old :flabbynsick: rapper who's clearly out of touch cosigns them.

There's an attitude in the new school that's desperate for validation. But if you don't validate them, then it's like "fukk the old school and everything about it."

Imo, pick one. Either you wanna impress the old school and you learn what it takes to do that or you say "fukk em and everything about them, I'ma do me." You can't have both.

I fux with Lorde. I think she's the dopest pop acts in years. I know she listens to Rocky and her shyt has a similar vibe.

Good point. Instead of hitting up Miguel and Mark Ronsons :flabbynsick:, he could have hit up Lorde.

yep. either way, haters gon hate.
