UK Government is putting reputation over safety. They don't want to lock London down because they want the world to see us as a city than can function and overcome it without having to resort to a lockdown - which simply isnt going to happen. Unfortunately because of their lack of action we're all gonna have to find this out the hard way.

The only good thing they've done so far which I have to give them credit for is covering peoples wages. I had my salary reduced but because of that financial pledge they've made it's no longer gonna be cut.
