She said she couldn't swim. So she was likely too afraid to even try to get out on her own. And based off her pic she was probably too heavy set to crawl out the window. Some people just don't have any self preservation instincts. Swimming and being comfortable in water is one of the most basic and easy life saving skills to learn.

Who cares what the lady says. If you do shyt long enough where people are always putting themselves in predicaments they can avoid it wears on you quick and you don't have as much compassion because you cant have that much cause you have to continuously move on to the next one.
But here's the problems that people are going to ignore

4.38am: 911 call received. Dispatcher begins gathering information. Every police officer on duty is busy on other calls.

1. Low number on duty

4.41am: Fire department is dispatched to the scene.

4.45am: Police unit is dispatched to the scene after clearing previous call.

4.50am: Police/fire arrive on the scene.

2. It took them 9 and 5 minutes to get to the scene.

4.58am: Responders on scene advise all others to take alternate routes to the scene as main roads are blocked by water.

4.59am: Responders request boat.

3. This is a situation the lady shouldnt have been driving in in the 1st place. If 1st responders cant get to you you're fukked regardless of what anyone on the phone says.


These are bigger issues and problems than a dispatcher being real with somebody during their death. That's emotion responding not logic and sense.
