here’s the long and short of it. And you can do with this what you will: Hollywood, like most industries, is male dominated. Always has been and despite the chatter and what some people may think, it always will be. And that includes places like the MPA.
That leads to a male perspective. Meaning nudity as we know it is normally breasts or bare ass. And 9/10, it’s the woman showing both. There’s an occasional vagina shot in a movie that’s not NC-17 but breasts, still a woman’s private parts, are shown without a warning of “you might see t*ts.” So the point is, if there’s no warning for a viewer letting them know this woman might show her breasts or ass or in some cases vagina, why do you expect there to be a warning for penis?
The shyt doesn’t add up. Now to you, seeing bare breasts on screen might not be a thing but that doesn’t mean everyone feels that way. And I know a handful of women who think it’s unfair “nudity” on film normally applies to them and them only. If someone is showing you penis it’s their attempt to balance the scales that are titled in the favor of male gaze since the beginning of moving pictures.
The simple solution for anyone who doesn’t want to see penis in a movie or whatever is just don’t watch. Simple as that.
