I can verify this is true. My gal bought me the classic red and white lion mark shirt from PWT, was disappointed with the quality, then got me an original off a reputable eBay seller.

She kept the PWT version, and a couple years later, the differences in color and thread quality are even more noticeable than before. You might end up paying twice as much, but the real thing is worth it.

The NJPW originals are slightly smaller due to the cultural size contrast, so a Japanese large is more akin to an American medium. Keep that in mind when ordering.
prowrestlingtees quality is trash, idk why people buy from there. They use DTG printing (direct to garment) instead of screen printing, that's why the quality isn't as good and it looks like shyt over time

It was bad enough for me to take this pic to let people see what you and I are talking about...

And mine is wrinkly because I haven't did my laundry since the NXT show last week, but still looks immensely better.

:hhh:
The best selling and most iconic wrestling shirts ever are simple in design but they insist on doing the most with the modern stuff
Exactly. How difficult is it to just have the wrestler's logo instead of a tacky shirt filled with tacky art and unnecessary text?

Do the T-shirt designers really think that a shirt like this

will be worn by people with decent taste on a level anywhere close to a shirt like this?

Wrestling's cool again. Been like this for awhile. :manny:

I need to cop some. Only wrestling tees I have is a recent Shinsuke one I got when NXT was here and an old brahma bull Rock shirt.

The AJ one confused me for months. I was like "Why does the A in AJ look like a P?" Just chalked it up to usual dumb WWE stuff. Then I realized it says P1 :heh:

One of the biggest problems with the current shirts are the big ass phrases and designs printed on the back.
