Anything from like 93 on is when I was started listening to hip hop on the radio and watching shyt like Video Music Box and The Box (music television you control :smugfavre: ) and BCAT.

I could only watch MTV at friends houses because I didn't have cable back then.

The first time I went to a club was '97 and shyt is weird because the stuff that got played in the club then wasn't really club type tracks that get played today. You would be grinding on a female to Biggie's Ten Crack Commandments. I miss the old days...

I remember when clubs used to have tracks that have dudes going hype and throwing shyt, like the early Luda joints, and Three 6 Mafia. Clubs today are simp haven and cater to hoes and weak ass shyt.

Yep, too scared a fight is going to break out, so they play the safe stuff. nikkas think people exaggerate on the 90's, but it was that dope. Blessed to have grown up then.

Not just that, but the club environment is wack as shyt too. Too many dudes dress up more than hoes, too many hoes acting stuck up, everything overpriced and trying to making it to a wack ass video. You really can't have FUN anymore. Too much imaged fueled shyt.
