Why this joint not on there? How?

haha I knew there was gonna be somebody askin "how come so-and-so joint is not on there?"
This is only the first 2 volumes of the series. There are still a bunch of dope tracks that I haven't included yet. So if you don't see a particular joint, chances are that it will be on a future volume. I can only fit in so much, and a lot of times I choose to group tracks together that have a certain vibe. With Vol.2, I tried to include a lot of tracks that even ppl familiar with the Canada scene back then would still have never heard, or only heard a handful of times.
That whole Grassroots album is dope....I own it on vinyl. You can definitely expect to hear more tracks from that project bruh

Ok, you've been added. Yeah, that's a dope Choclair song, and will definitely be featured on a future volume. If you wanna hear more of the 90's Canadian hip hop, I would suggest starting with Vol #1 that I posted above. That one had a lot of the bigger tracks that had videos & made some noise in the U.S. (mainly around underground hip hop radio like Stretch & Bobbito etc).

Vol.2 has some big tracks, but mostly focuses on the b-sides, rare joints, album cuts etc. I would check this one out after Vol.1
No doubt. I made a Mixcloud account and followed. I'll check these out soon. Respect:salute:

Dope, might check this out.

Mathematik always has been, and probably always will be the dopest MC to ever come out of Canada.

Saukrates is a close second.

Choclair (before that Ice Cold album :hhh:), Kardinall, and Frankenstein all used to get burn from me too. To this day, Choclair has a top 3 or 4 live stage performance I ever seen at a hip-hop show.

Mathematik is definitely one of the top MCs....too bad he's often overlooked. His projects never got the proper push behind them, mainly because he was an indie artist. You can always expect to find tracks from him on my Canadian Hip Hop mixes
