I have only been watching 90 day fiancé since the Jorge Anfisa in america storyline so a lot of these returning couples are new to me. Kirlyam and Alan seemed like a pretty drama free couple so they stood out and when I looked for more information through google and I found the comment below. Kirlyam does look like an actress to many people so they are going to say Alan outkicked his coverage. If he really has groomed her since she was 12 or 13 and living in third world conditions like no hot water inside her home then she will feel obligated to marry him and have his kids when she was old enough. Mormons try to get rid of the stigma about having a lot of wives or having young wives who they want at home barefoot and pregnant. Another person asked if he really waited until she was of legal age to pursue a romance. I don't know the age of consent down there but it seems wrong if you are down there to help people and you are instead looking for your future wife in a group of teen or pre-teen girls. These other spinoffs aren't really as interesting right now but they may pick up eventually If the show is good this thread will be still going on with comments.
"I mean he basically knew her since she was 13 and wanted her then...he's kinda said some sketch things about how they actually got together. He's said some slight different things but the latest story is that he met her briefly when he went on a mission trip (he would have been 22, she 13), then claims he "happened" to go back and they reconnected and that's when they started going through the visa process. But I do believe they communicated all those years, since they initially met, and he basically groomed her to be his wife. I'm kinda gutted she's condemned to a housewife life, just because a older guy preyed on her from the moment she was a pre-teen, when she has so much potential for great things. And not just modeling but, even more opportunities--she has the looks and personality to pretty much accomplish anything. And she's basically going to be a human incubator for a Mormon man."
